A Novel…
At the heart of this fictional tale lies a southern family of landowners whose story unravels, revealing their intricate balance of strengths and weaknesses.
The narrative is set in a community where wealth is calculated by acreage, love of family measured in the unwavering devotion between parents and siblings, and one’s faith in God considered intact so long as attendance in church is observed on a regular basis.
The narrative reveals the distinctive characteristics of both the family and community, offering insight into their individual struggles and family secrets that bind them together.
Children’s Picture Books…
The first manuscript was inspired by a poem I wrote many years ago for my young daughter who was full of laughter, creativity, and spontaneity. With each word I wrote, the characters came to life. I envisioned their world and the things they could learn and achieve together.
Although chosen in a creative moment, I was pleased to discover that each character holds significance within various cultures around the world. Having now completed manuscript numbers two and three, I look forward to sharing the adventures of these special friends with vivid imaginations and dreams of their own.
